WHO IS ONEWAVE?

OneWave is a non-profit surf community raising awareness of mental health through a simple recipe…saltwater therapy, surfing and fluro. We believe everyone should have the chance to ride waves and openly talk about mental health without being judged.

Since launching in Bondi in 2013, OneWave has held Fluro Friday events at over 200 beaches across more than 50 countries, raising awareness around mental health, reducing stigma and helping people free the funk.

OneWave also runs 'Free the Funk' Programs in schools and workplaces, which have impacted more than 45,000 people.

Check out the OneWave programs below and we would be so stoked to go fluro surfing with you soon!

ONEWAVE PROGRAMS

We focus on early prevention because we know community, connection and conversations save lives. When people have a trusted community to surf and share stories with they are much more likely to take positive action for their mental health. Join us for our free weekly Fluro Friday events or host a OneWave Free the Funk Program at your school or workplace.

JOIN YOUR LOCAL ONEWAVE TRIBE AT FLURO FRIDAY

OneWave runs weekly Fluro Friday sunrise sessions where the community dress up in bright outfits and share waves and stories to raise awareness of mental health.

Sometimes one wave is all it takes to free the funk and wearing bright colours makes people happy and helps start conversations about mental health, which is often invisible.
