Ethan Ewing finished runner up in the 2023 World Surf League Finals and is an absolute weapon in the water. With people comparing his style to the great Andy Irons, and veterans like Bede Burbidge in his corner as a fellow North Straddie local, Ethan is set to be a force in surfing for a long, long time.
Ethan and his main sponsor Billabong have kindly donated a signed DHD surfboard to support OneWave - a surf charity raising raising awareness of mental health through a simple recipe…saltwater therapy, surfing and fluro. All proceeds will support OneWave's preventative mental health programs, aiming to impact 10,000+ people in 2024.

WHO IS ONEWAVE?
OneWave is a non-profit surf community raising awareness of mental health through a simple recipe…saltwater therapy, surfing and fluro. Sometimes one wave is all it takes! Since launching in March 2013 OneWave has created a global impact, raising awareness and reducing social stigmas around mental health challenges through their Fluro Friday Sessions and Free the Funk School Programs.
WHERE WILL THE FUNDS GO?
The funds raised from Ethan Ewing’s board auction will support OneWave’s preventative mental health programs:
Every $5 raised - gives one young person the chance to be part of Free the Funk School Program and learn mental health tools that will last a lifetime and also supports Fluro Friday events.
Every $100 raised - gives 20 young people the chance to be part of Free the Funk School Program and learn mental health tools that will last a lifetime and also supports Fluro Friday events.
Every $1,000 raised - funds one Free the Funk School Program, which impacts 200+ young people on average and also helps OneWave continue to provide free Fluro Friday community events.
