HOST A FLURO FRIDAY AT YOUR SCHOOL

Supporting Mental Health Month - October 2023

In October 2023 we are inviting schools around the world to host a Fluro Friday to bring a whole lot of colour to mental health.

Dressing in bright colours makes people happy, but it also makes an invisible issue visible, by helping start conversations about mental health.

If you want to run a Fluro event on a different day of the week than Friday that is awesome too.

What will students learn from Fluro Friday?

Students will understand that it is OK not to be OK, alongside a newfound appreciation of surfing and fluro as valuable mental health tools. Young people will discover a brighter future where mental health is something they understand and are capable of successfully tackling with the support of those around them.

Fluro Friday Information Pack

Check out the info pack below to find out what Fluro Friday is and ideas for running Fluro Friday at your school. There are also posters provided, so you can add the Fluro Friday details for your school and a Fluro Friday video to show at your school.
